General Market Statistics:

Generally Speaking, the Albany-Schenectady-Troy Market covers the counties of Albany, Columbia, Greene, Fulton, Hamilton, Rennsselaer, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington.

For the ease of our visitors, we have broken up the Albany Market into smaller pieces, that represents more of what our will be able to receive.  So for instance, we spilt off Warren and Washington Counties (calling it the Glens Falls area) because someone from Glens Falls looking for a local radio station is not going to consider an Albany (or Schenectady) station local.  Also, it allows us to list low-power TV stations in the communities they serve, rather than in a long list of all the stations in a market, of which, many of the LPTV stations are out of range for most people.  There are also instances where we have listed a station multiple times on the various pages because they cover multiple areas.
